Advita is a Chartered Practitioner and has worked within internal communication for almost 15 years in a range of industries, public and private. She is a firm believer in professional development and works with people to take the leap so they can revolutionise the way they communicate. In her most recent roles she has worked on large-scale transformational and transition programmes at multi-national organisations.
She is also a keen blogger and regularly documents her learning via her blog: www.commsrebel.com.
Advita was awarded fellowship of the CIPR in 2018.
Martin has worked in communication roles in central government, higher education, financial and legal services for over 20 years, mainly in corporate, change and programme level communication and management roles. He specialises in internal, change communication and employee engagement and is currently Global Internal Communications Lead at the Medical Protection Society.
A CIPR Chartered PR Practitioner and Fellow, he has a CIPR Internal Communication Diploma and blogs about internal communication at ggelfIC.com.
Debbie discovered her passion for internal communications six years ago, working as an in-house professional for a large financial services company, supporting global digital transformation and change.
Since becoming an independent practitioner two years ago, she’s worked with leaders across a variety of sectors, including e-commerce and professional training. A keen podcaster, she hosts the Be a Bigger Fish podcast.
Debbie was delighted to achieve Chartered Practitioner status in 2019.
Jenni is Senior Internal Communications Officer with Cardiff University.
With 15 years’ experience in communications roles, Jenni is passionate about improving employee experience through increased engagement and targeted and consistent communications.
Outside of work, Jenni can usually be found on a beach, up a hill, or in a castle, enjoying the Welsh countryside with her family.
Jenni completed the CIPR Internal Communications diploma in 2015.
Currently working as an in-house IC specialist in Bristol Dan has spent the past six years supporting both office and remote workers. He completed has completed the CIPR Internal Communications Diploma and earnt CIPR PR Practitioner accreditation back in 2016 and joined the CIPR Inside committee in 2018.
Earlier in 2019 Dan set-up Horizon Comms, a website dedicated to supporting professionals new to the internal communications community by providing articles, resources and signposting to useful resources.
Marsha began her IC career by pioneering the internal comms function at the RIBA. Since then she’s worked in oil and insurance as an Internal Comms Manager. She has a keen interest in employee voice and creating a good employee experience. In her most recent role, she built and managed a community of 80 employee reporters, ran focus groups and developed insight to help the team better serve the business.
Sarah-Jane started her career as a journalist before changing path and amassing 20 years’ experience working in communications environments in dynamic, fast-moving teams in high profile, complex organisations. A successful leader and highly experienced strategic advisor, operating at C-suite level across FTSE 100, public sector and government organisations. A proven track record in strategic communications, supporting organisational and cultural transformation. Sarah-Jane is a Fellow, IoIC; an Accredited Practitioner, CIPR; has the CIPR PR diploma and has an international MBA in Communications and Leadership.
Padraic is proudly Irish and an interim Change and Communications specialist with 10 years’ experience across several diverse industries and sectors. He focuses on supporting change and transformation teams by delivering creative engagement and communications plans for change teams to drive engagement, business performance, adoption and return on investment. He is an advocate for driving stakeholders to invest in “the people part” of change to drive successful outcomes, taking into account global and international nuances and regionalisms.
Gihan is an award winning corporate communication expert with a deep passion for internal communication. She specialises in building innovative communications departments, strategies and delivering business results in pressurised and uncertain situations within Large, complex and global organisations. Currently she is BP’s Senior Communication Advisor for Workplace Modernisation and Advancing Low Carbon.
Helen has followed an interest in frontline communication and recently joined GSK’s pharma supply chain team. Before this, she enjoyed freelance assignments for clients including Virgin Atlantic and Gatwick Airport.
Passionate about CPD, Helen recently completed a Masters in Employee Engagement to ‘shake things up’. She likes nothing better than catching an IC podcast or book club choice.
Sussex based; outside of work Helen can usually be found catching a play or musical somewhere.
Madeleine has worked in internal comms for the past eight years, first for international law firm Pinsent Masons, then for global betting & gaming giant GVC Group, where she led on strategic employee communications for a range of major projects including M&A, employer brand and CSR.
Having studied business management at the University of Nottingham, specialising in marketing, Madeleine has completed Melcrum Black Belt Pro and hopes to get chartered in 2020. She’s also got a keen interest in the role of neuroscience in employee engagement through change and would love to take some time out to study business psychology in the future.
Zoe is an energetic communicator who is passionate about guiding senior leaders to truly shape the employee experience through consistent, impactful communications. She thrives on being ‘where the action is’ with front-line leaders and teams and ensuring they have the right strategy and plans in place.
Zoe worked in finance and HR before retraining to work in Internal Communications nearly 8 years ago. During that time, she has worked across aviation, finance, manufacturing and construction, gaining valuable experience across different industries.
Outside of communicating Zoe will often be found with her head in a book, lost in some music or walking Mabel, her three-year old Jack Russell.
Chaya is a communication coach and consultant who champions strategic communication that creates positive human connection. As owner of her company; Humanly, she coaches leaders and supports communication that enhances listening, conversation and connection. She has 14 years of in-house experience in the energy industry and a varied background including a mix of psychology, public relations, internal communication and is a qualified business and personal coach. She is British but lives in The Netherlands.
A communications specialist since 2001, I've worked with a range of global brands including Barclays, Thomson Reuters, and the BBC.
Through my work I teach organisations of all sizes how to listen to their employees, customers, and stakeholders, and then how to interact with them.
I advise on PR, marketing, advertising, and social media, but my deepest passion is for employee engagement and internal communications. I believe that getting these right will provide the firmest foundations for a successful business.
Katie is a Chartered and award-winning communication specialist with 20 years’ experience. She specialises in internal communication, taking an inside out view of communication to help workplaces work better for business success. Katie loves the complexity found in organisational communication and interpreting the dynamics that can be found between leadership and employees, then designing simple and creative solutions for different challenges. Katie also leads and teaches the CIPR Internal Communication Diploma at Bournemouth University.
