A co-founder of the CIPR Greater London Group, Debbi Powton has held all the offices on committee as well as being ordinary committee member. She is currently the secretary of the GLG and has been active wiith Public Affairs group and International Group. Debbie was voted one of the ’70 for 70’ people in the 2018 CIPR 70 year celebrations. Debbi is experienced in all areas of public relations, and has been concentrating on public affairs and business for quite a few years now, particularly within the death care industry and burial law reform.
Mark Fulker is a Senior Account Manager at Madano, working across the Investment, Development & Regeneration, Tech and Energy Practices.
Before joining Madano, Mark spent more than 15 years as a Senior Press Officer at FTSE100 safety, health and environmental conglomerate Halma, devising and implementing communication strategies to support subsidiary companies’ business objectives.
Mark holds a degree in French from King’s College London and a Diploma in Public Relations from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.

Freja is an employee communications specialist with experience working in the public, private and charity sectors, primarily in the property and construction industries. Freja’s passion is people: building relationships and making employees feel engaged, valued and informed.
Freja joined the GLG CIPR Committee for 2020 and will be helping the committee host events enabling members to build new connections, develop skills & knowledge, and have fun – all whilst gaining valuable CPD points.
Steve Shepperson-Smith is a senior corporate affairs professional who works for Vodafone Group. Steve has over 20 years’ experience counselling senior executives and leading financial PR, public affairs, corporate strategy, sustainable business and communications campaigns across international markets.
Steve is a Chartered PR Practitioner and Fellow of the CIPR. He has been Chair of the Greater London Group since 2017. Steve is a former CIPR Council member, currently sits on the Board and is Chair of the Finance Committee.
Diane Hinds loves talent and her role in brand building and reputation management within the arts and entertainment sectors has generated coverage around the world. The stories she looks forward to telling her grand-children are scandalous and potentially libelous. Time and again Diane is fortunate to see how the arts bring people together. Best moment to date? Being chauffeur driven with Dudley Moore, shortly before he passed away. Somethings are best kept secret!

Darryl Sparey is a UK board director at Hotwire, the global communications agency. Darryl looks after business development for Hotwire, and is responsible for attracting new prospective clients for the agency. Prior to this, Darryl ran the London office of search engine marketing agency Mediaworks, and was Group Sales Director for CIPR Partner Precise (now Kantar Media) for over ten years. When Darryl isn’t working or at a networking event, he’s at home on the South Coast in Bournemouth, either running along the beach, or running after his young daughter.
Rosanna Head is a PR and media practitioner with 14 years’ experience working in the B2B and B2C corporate communications industry.
Rosanna has been on the CIPR Greater London Group committee for two years, is a keen networker and organiser of the GLG’s Annual Lecture.
Her current role is as an Associate Director for Corporate Reputation PR agency Definition based in London; the agency has offices in Leeds and Dubai.
Rosanna’s work experience includes agency and in-house roles that encompass both UK and global markets and a portfolio of brands that span professional services, personal finance, food and drink, travel and retail.
Nicola Brown has spent the last 20 years in senior public relations and journalism roles, achieving a track record of transforming reputations and cultures as a perceptive and collaborative change influencer.
She is passionate about stakeholder communications and reputation management, predominantly for UK public, charity and private healthcare clients but also leading communications initiatives for international organisations. She founded the PR agency NB Thinks Ltd in 2019.
She has been a GLG committee member since 2016, as well as a previous East Anglia group committee member. She is a CIPR council member and serves on the policy and campaigns committee. She holds a CIPR Diploma.
Away from work she can often be found running her favourite routes in London and East Anglia and is usually in training for some race or other.

Claire Simpson is a results-driven PR professional, with experience across B2B and B2C communications. Currently Senior Account Executive at PRWeek Top 150 travel consultancy, The PC Agency, she manages a portfolio of international clients across the airline and tourism sectors.
Claire previously worked in the corporate communications team at multinational aerospace company, Airbus, delivering integrated campaigns for a diverse range of external stakeholders and 100,000-strong global workforce.
She holds a first-class degree in Linguistics (BSc Hons) from Aston University.

Christine Bowles is Head, Marketing & Communications at Renaix, an international recruitment and executive search consultancy, specialising in placing senior management, finance and audit professionals.
She has extensive experience in communications, marketing and general management gained within the service sector. Aside from professional services, these include roles in membership bodies, the civil service and higher education.
Christine studied Law and Politics before completing an MSc in Marketing at Birkbeck College, University of London in 2017. Her master’s dissertation explored how UK membership bodies can engage stakeholders via Twitter & social media.
A committee member of both the CIPR Greater London Group and CIM Levitt Group Board, where she is Social Media Ambassador, Christine also acts as a mentor for the charity, Career Ready, which prepares young people for the world of work.
Ant Cousins is a communications, collaboration and change management professional with extensive experience in delivering projects and programmes across Government, professional service and financial service industries. Comfortable building relationships at C-suite level and developing cultural, behavioural and digital transformation propositions, narratives and strategies for internal and external audiences. He thrives on fast pace and high pressure and enjoys working closely with diverse stakeholders where there is a need to establish common goals and understanding.
In his spare time Ant writes creatively and makes films, following his passion in the power of film to entertain and enlighten.
